What is the "look" of FutureWall™?

The FutureWall™ System does not set out to create a particular design look. Instead, we see FutureWall™ as a framing platform that allows designers to create their own look by using horizontal and vertical articulation, specific panel finishes and custom trim profiles if required.

What panel configuration can I design?

Panels can be horizontally or vertically articulated to any given dimension. For practical purposes the smallest width panel is no less than 80mm.

What materials can I use with FutureWall™?

The FutureWall™ building platform can receive a wide range of panel substrates. The most common panel material is particleboard, which can be veneered, laminated, coated or upholstered. Provided the substrate can be machined to accept the panel clips and hanger, virtually any substrate and thickness can be accommodated. Panel finishes can range from laminates, timber veneers, fabrics, glass, metal, composites, timber to stone.

Can one side of the wall be different from the other?

Each side of the a FutureWall™ partition is completely independent of the other, so completely different finishes can be accommodated to reflect the utility of the space on each side of the wall.

Can customised wall panels be specified?

The FutureWall™ System allows for any type of wall panel customisation provided the same panel attachment system can be with utilised.

What trims are possible?

Although the FutureWall™ System is delivered with a standard aluminium trim kit, trims can be easily customized to a specific profile in aluminium, solid timber or MDF. Accordingly custom cornices, skirtings and door frames can be created.

What finishes are available for the aluminium?

Aluminium sections can be anodised or powder coated to specification or design preference.

What FutureWall™ joints are there?

There are three methods for panel jointing, butt joint, shadow joint, or soft joint (to allow for attachment of furniture to the stud). Decorative mouldings can also be inserted into shadow joints to create a particular appearance.

What is the wall thickness of FutureWall™ and can it be altered?

The typical wall is 96mm face to face and the capping section / post is 102mm which provides a negative detail at the junction. Double stud walls of specific thicknesses can be built to help achieve higher acoustic ratings.

Can curved walls be accommodated?

Curved walls can be created by manufacturing curved panels and adjusting stud layout to suit the curvature.
