Procurement and Installation

Procurement and Installation

Intanova has a team of local and international suppliers that have been carefully selected for their quality, reliability and capacity to service Intanova on a national and international basis.  However, as with all engineered products, the  minimum lead time for FutureWall™ components is four to six weeks and this needs to be accounted for in the project delivery process.

The FutureWall™ System, in a similar way to a workstation system, has the advantage of being a clean-installed product, which allows the procurement and off-site processing phases to have far more leeway in overlapping with the on-site delivery phase, especially when compared to traditional plasterboard partitioning.  Nevertheless, we prefer to procure and process our components at the earliest possible date rather than to unnecessarily compress the installation time, which could potentially jeopardise quality.

Procurement

At Intanova, we produce workshop drawings to minimise or entirely eliminate the risk of errors in procurement and we periodically test and calibrate our dies and manufacturing processes to maintain our high tolerance standards. In addition, because all components are labeled to identify its specific location in the project, double handling is minimised once it’s delivered to the site.  Intanova maintains a full inventory of all long-lead components at our warehouse, so we can deal with any errors that may occur during the procurement or installation process. Our holding warehouse also mitigates project over supply that can cause storage space problems when space is at premium.

Installation

All of our components are processed as completely as practical during the procurement and off-site phases of the project, leaving just simple assembly for the installation phase. Whilst standard industry skills are used to install the FutureWall™ System, Intanova recognises the importance of the quality of the finished works.  You can rely on our select team of accredited installers who are trained and experienced in the system, processes and procedures to ensure that our quality objectives are met and maintained during the installation and subsequent churn of the fit-out.
